The Friends of SPL are currently accepting nominations for its next President. Elections are in June. Current President, Joe Gavner will offer his assistance for the first year to the winning president.

It is exciting to see this section. I am a friend, volunteer and we need more help. What might entice more people to help for this years June 7 Library book fair?

For a site like this to be successful (i.e. provide information useful to both posters and readers), its information must be kept up-to-date.
The book sale was almost two weeks ago. What was the result? How much was raised by the sale of books, by the sale of other items, and by new memberships?
The date of the last regular meeting posted here has passed. What are the dates of the upcoming meetings? Will the minutes for all meetings be published?
There is no mention of the annual meeting here. When is it and where will it be held? What is the agenda for the meeting, what is the proposed slate of officers, and what is the proposed budget?
